Angry Birds heading to Wii and Wii U

Recently I have heard that a few Angry Birds games such as "Angry Birds" and "Angry Birds Rio" are coming to the Wii and Wii U. Angry Birds Rio will be a new addition to the 3DS, given the fact that "Angry Birds Trilogy" is already a 3DS game. Angry Birds games seem like a pretty decent addition to the Wii U game library because of the gamepad. This is great for users who, for example, don't have a smartphone or tablet, and/or want to play Angry Birds on their 46 inch television. The Wii version is best for those who don't have a Wii U and want to play it on their big screen TV. Launching the birds with a Wii Remote seems interesting and I bet the Wii U version will also have the option to use those controls. I don't know how much any of these versions will cost. However, I do know that they will be released on August 13.
